Workplace Violence Prevention

Manager Feedback

The most successful training we have ever provided to our employees.

BC Ministry of Children and Family Development, Education Services Advisor

Participants found the course content to be timely, stimulating and, most importantly, of great use to them both personally and professionally. They have repeatedly commented on how much they enjoyed the effectiveness of your presentation, your high energy level, and non-threatening(!) informative style…

Hotel Vancouver

This was the most well received and successful workshop I have coordinated to date. I attribute this success to the lively, entertaining, and informative presentation given by Hugh Pelmore.

City of New Westminster

Course evaluations for the training have been extremely positive with comments such as 'very appropriate to our jobs', 'great speaker who communicates effectively', 'practical', 'lots of good suggestions', 'covered a variety of topics I hadn't even thought about', 'Well thought out program'.

BC Assessment

In all instances this training was delivered in a professional timely and cost effective manner. In addition, we were pleased with the way Hugh Pelmore was able to tailor the sessions to meet our specific training requirements. I would have no hesitation in recommending ARETE Safety and Protection to other organizations that require violence in the workplace training sessions.

BC Biomedical

Prior to developing the program for SkyTrain Hugh spent a significant amount of time in the field with STA’s in order to understand the environment that they work in. The result is that employees know that the course was developed for them and that the skills will be useful. If your company is planning to conduct personal protection training, we highly recommend ARETE Safety and Protection.

Skytrain, Manager - Safety and Training

The City of Vancouver uses ARETE Safety as the sole provider of Violence Prevention training. ARETE has delivered their captivating sessions since 1993 and in that time there has been nothing but very positive feedback from all attendees. The courses offered by ARETE are consistently the most well attended of all safety courses offered at the city, and this is due, in part, to the engaging delivery style and hands on training format.
